Brooke is a skilled and dedicated dog trainer, recognized as one of Maine’s Best Dog Trainers in 2021 by Downeast Dog Magazine.

After graduating from University of Southern Maine, she began a career in education but soon pursued her passion for dog training. At a local dog daycare & training center, she rose from volunteer to head trainer by 2015 and created a Day School program that delivered lasting results for dogs and their owners. 

Over the past decade, Brooke has earned several respected credentials, including AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, CPDT-KA certification from the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, and Therapy Dog Team certification with her late therapy dog, Barney. She refined her skills by focusing on off-leash reliability without treats, clickers, or e-collars, and has received years of one-on-one coaching with nationally recognized trainers. Brooke stays current through annual workshops on behavior, aggression, communication, and puppy development, ensuring her training methods remain effective, informed, and grounded in best practices. 

Brooke competes with her personal dogs in AKC trials, achieving obedience and rally titles. Her Golden mix, Lily Pantaloons CD, BN, RN, CGCA, CGC, has earned two obedience titles and one rally title, while her black lab, Ricochet Rabbit CD, CGC, CGCA, has earned one obedience title and is working toward the Companion Dog Excellent (CDX) title.

She lives in Harpswell with her husband and two children, who are also passionate about helping her train the dogs!
