Brooke is a highly skilled and dedicated dog trainer, recognized as one of Maine’s Best Dog Trainers in 2021 by Downeast Dog Magazine.

She began her career in education after earning an English degree from the University of Southern Maine, but her lifelong passion for dogs led her to professional training. After volunteering at a Maine-based dog daycare, she quickly became assistant trainer and, in 2015, the facility’s full-time head trainer. There, she created the Day School program—providing dogs with daily training and enrichment while their owners worked—and built a reputation for producing lasting, reliable results at home.

Over the past decade, Brooke has earned several respected credentials, including AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, CPDT-KA certification from the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, and Therapy Dog Team certification with her late therapy dog, Barney. She refined her skills under a California-based mentor, specializing in off-leash reliability without treats, clickers, or e-collars, and has received years of one-on-one coaching with nationally recognized trainers. Brooke stays current through annual workshops on behavior, aggression, communication, and puppy development, ensuring her training methods remain effective, informed, and grounded in best practices. 

Brooke competes with her personal dogs in AKC trials, achieving obedience and rally titles. Her Golden mix, Lily Pantaloons CD, BN, RN, CGCA, CGC, has earned two obedience titles and one rally title, while her black lab, Ricochet Rabbit CD, CGC, CGCA, has earned one obedience title and is working toward the Companion Dog Excellent (CDX) title.

She resides in Harpswell with her husband and two children, who are also passionate about helping her train the dogs!
